Day 7: 12th Dec

sunny 30 °C

The weather forecast predicted a beautiful day and the stunning sunrise set the tone for the rest of the day.
After an early breakfast, Grant and I headed over to Saltpond Bay to snorkel. We arrived there shortly after 9am but there were already some cars parked in the car park.
We went straight into the water and had a wonderful time. We saw plenty of marine life including turtles, porcupine fish, lobsters and a stunning display of coral.
It was 11:30 when we left the beach and we headed straight back to the villa.
We freshened up quickly and then drove over to Coral Bay for lunch at Shipwreck Landing. We ordered a portion of coconut crusted shrimp to share as a starter and this was delicious.
Dad and I both chose the crab cake platter for our main course. Grant ordered a curry nut crusted mahi mahi sandwich. As usual this casual dining spot did not disappoint.
On the way back to the villa we stopped at the supermarket in Coral Bay.
We arrived back at the villa at 3:30 and spent the rest of the afternoon sunbathing and soaking in the hot tub.
For dinner we prepared quite a feast using the remaining contents of the fridge.
After dinner we packed our belongings ready for part 2 of our holiday adventure.
